The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has signed an agreement with King Saud University to implement an executive master's program specializing in real estate development and marketing, as part of efforts to qualify national cadres and raise their professional capabilities in the fields of real estate development and residential project management, in line with the sector's requirements and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030..
This collaboration aims to leverage the academic and scientific capabilities of King Saud University, a strategic partner of the Ministry in several initiatives related to the housing and real estate development sector. The program aims to equip Ministry and municipal staff with advanced knowledge and practical skills that will contribute to leading initiatives to stimulate the housing supply and develop the real estate environment in the Kingdom..
The agreement stipulates the design and implementation of an Executive Master's program in Real Estate Development and Marketing through an academic partnership between King Saud University and a leading international university in this field. This partnership ensures the quality of the academic content and strengthens the program's practical application. The program is planned to run for a full year, divided into three semesters, and includes ten courses totaling thirty-six credit hours..
The program will train 200 practitioners in the real estate development and marketing sector in several batches, with 60 participants annually nominated by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. The focus will be on developing leadership skills, improving the quality of real estate development projects, and creating a more attractive real estate environment that attracts investment and fosters innovation in the sector..
The program also aims to improve the efficiency of housing project management, develop systems that support the building of a modern real estate system, and graduate qualified personnel capable of planning and managing residential development according to best global practices..
This cooperation comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing to enhance the skills of national talents, strengthen partnerships with leading academic institutions, and support the sustainability of real estate development by building specialized professional capabilities that contribute to the development of the residential and urban sector in the Kingdom.
