The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing is participating in the Sports Investment Forum 2026, by reviewing the quality investment opportunities offered by Saudi cities, and highlighting the municipal enablers that support investment, which contributes to enhancing economic development and raising the quality of life.
During its participation, the Ministry highlights the investment opportunities available through the Saudi Cities Investment Portal “Fursah”, which allows investors to view municipal opportunities in various regions of the Kingdom, in a number of developmental, service and entertainment sectors, thus enhancing access to opportunities and raising the efficiency of the investment environment.
This participation comes as an extension of the Ministry’s efforts to empower the private sector, enhance the utilization of municipal assets, and transform public sites and facilities into attractive investment opportunities that contribute to revitalizing the local economy, creating job opportunities, and improving the urban landscape.
The ministry will also review during the forum the role of urban planning in supporting sports investment, through the development of integrated urban destinations, multi-use facilities, and spaces that support sports and recreational activities, thereby enhancing the attractiveness of Saudi cities and increasing their competitiveness.
The ministry affirmed that its participation in the forum embodies its orientation towards expanding the base of municipal investment and maximizing the private sector's contribution to urban development, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and build higher quality, more sustainable, and more attractive cities for living, working, and investing.
