The Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, visited the Khuzam destination, owned by NHC , on Tuesday to learn about its features and advantages, its quality of life amenities, and the services it provides to residents. On the sidelines of the visit, Their Excellencies inaugurated the NHC Center. In a pioneering step through which the company aims to promote sustainability and quality of life and achieve integration between urban and community development, in the presence of the CEO, Mr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati. During the tour, the ministers were briefed on the quality of life in “Khuzam” and the services it offers. The CEO accompanied the delegation on a visit to Wadi Murcia, and the destination’s green spaces and the Khuzam Grand Park. Al-Bati also reviewed the company’s standards in implementing projects through dedicated pedestrian paths, access to sites within a period ranging from 5 to 10 minutes, and the availability of nearby services for residents in each residential neighborhood of the destination. The community center is a valuable addition that contributes to improving the living experience for the residents and visitors of Khuzam destination. It features a modern design that combines the needs of the community with the requirements of modern life, and includes integrated facilities that include large green spaces for gatherings and events, fully equipped gyms, places dedicated to children, as well as multi-purpose halls for organizing workshops and cultural and social activities. The center includes a volunteer club that provides opportunities to participate in social and humanitarian initiatives aimed at promoting human values, along with various sports facilities such as padel and football courts, fitness centers, a bowling alley, and spaces for electronic and social games, in addition to various cultural and social facilities. The ceremony witnessed the signing of a number of strategic agreements, most notably an agreement with the Human Resources Development Fund to enhance localization opportunities and empower national cadres through development programs, an agreement with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to enhance partnership in the areas of developing social facilities and areas of common interest, in addition to signing an agreement with the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector to support volunteer activities and implement several joint initiatives, projects and investments that contribute to raising the quality of the volunteer club, and launching the NHC Foundation . The ceremony concluded with a tour of the Khuzam destination, where the ministers were briefed on the destination’s facilities and services, which aim to create an integrated environment that enhances life by surrounding the residence with numerous recreational and community services and green spaces, in line with the company’s vision to develop integrated urban destinations that offer a new model for modern living. This launch is a prime example of NHC's commitment. With its pioneering role in developing sustainable destinations that contribute to improving the quality of life and enhancing social cohesion, reflecting the company’s ambitious aspirations and vision aimed at building a balanced and prosperous future in its destinations across the Kingdom.
