The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing called on members of the community to report violations of shared housing regulations through the "Baladi" platform or by calling the unified number. She affirmed the continuation of her oversight efforts in cooperation with relevant authorities, noting that the commitment of private sector establishments to provide a suitable residential environment for workers is a shared responsibility that contributes to supporting sustainable urban development and keeps pace with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in improving the quality of life.

The ministry recently launched the updated version of the guide to health, technical, and safety requirements for shared housing for individuals, as part of its efforts to regulate this type of housing and standardize its regulations, contributing to providing a safe and healthy residential environment that takes into account the needs of residents and supports the quality of life in the Kingdom's cities. .

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing heads the National Program for the Development of Group Housing for Individuals, which includes in its membership a number of government agencies, including: the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, the Authority for Special Economic Cities and Zones, and the Public Health Authority “Weqaya”.
