The Sakani program announced the completion of reservations for the Crown Prince (Al-Azhar) scheme in Makkah, after launching the electronic reservation process for the scheme through the Sakani website and application. It indicated that more land will be offered in the Crown Prince scheme during the next phase, within the framework of joint efforts to improve the affordability of housing, in order to achieve the goals of the Housing Program - one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030 - by providing opportunities to own suitable housing for Saudi families, through providing multiple housing products and diverse financing solutions for beneficiaries.
The program explained in a press statement today that the plan, which is distinguished by its location within the urban area of the city of Makkah, provides 1065 plots of land with an average area of 500 m2 per plot, as “Sakani” allows the reservation of all residential plots electronically through the application and the Sakani website after choosing the appropriate land and issuing its contracts electronically without the need to visit one of the ministry’s branches.
“Sakani” indicated that 1,826 plots of land were offered in the Crown Prince (Al-Muruj) scheme in the Makkah region during the past month of March, noting that these steps come within the framework of the program’s keenness to provide more options for citizens that enable them to obtain suitable housing that meets their desires and aspirations, within the framework of striving to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program – one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030 – to raise the rate of homeownership to 70% by the year 2030.
The “Sakani” website and application offers a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate advisor, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates for the first home, obtaining price quotes from financing entities, issuing land contracts electronically, benefiting from engineering design services and the “approved contractor”, electronic financing services and the “real estate market”, as well as registration and immediate eligibility, and issuing building permits electronically.
