"سكني": إصدار أكثر من 18 ألف عقد إلكتروني للأراضي المجانية حتى سبتمبر 2022

The “Sakani” program announced the issuance of 18,544 electronic contracts for free residential land to Saudi families benefiting from the program since the beginning of 2022 until the end of last September through its electronic application, in preparation for the beneficiaries to start construction work on it. This issuance comes within the housing options and diverse financing solutions provided by the program to facilitate first home ownership, with the aim of supporting beneficiaries to raise the percentage of Saudi families owning homes to 70% by the year 2030 in line with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -.

“Sakani” explained in a statement today that the land contracts included 4,334 plots in the Makkah region, 3,987 plots in the Riyadh region, 2,710 plots in the Eastern region, 1,871 plots in the Asir region, 1,379 plots in the Qassim region, 1,251 plots in the Najran region, 1,055 plots in the Jazan region, 816 plots in the Hail region, 562 plots in the Madinah region, 201 plots in the Al-Baha region, 163 plots in the Northern Borders region, 117 plots in the Al-Jawf region, in addition to 98 plots in the Tabuk region.

The program indicated that this number comes as an extension of what was previously issued in electronic contracts for lands within the plans made available by the Sakani website and application for Saudi families benefiting from housing support in all cities and regions of the Kingdom, through easy electronic procedures, explaining that the procedures for booking and inspecting land sites and plans can be completed through the program’s website https://sakani.sa .

“Sakani” confirmed the continuation of delivering residential lands to beneficiary citizens in all schemes listed on the electronic portal, and working to deliver services to them in cooperation with relevant authorities, and the housing sector’s continued achievement of its objectives by improving the affordability of housing to support Saudi families and enable them to own or benefit from their first home.

“Sakani” provides optional support packages within its solutions and options offered to Saudi families, bringing the number of housing and financing options to 9. The new packages include (provided support, rent, furniture, self-build, and home renovation). These packages provide the beneficiary with flexible and multiple solutions, by providing immediate non-refundable support to beneficiaries of ready-made housing units, under construction, and self-build, in partnership with the Real Estate Development Fund and financing entities from banks, financing institutions, and real estate developers. This comes from “Sakani’s” belief in the continuity of housing support and the importance of diversifying financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of Saudi families owning their homes.
