His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, received today Mr. Hae-Jin Lee, founder and chairman of the board of directors ofNAVER Company. The visit, which took place during the Cityscape Global 2025 exhibition in Riyadh, reinforces the existing partnership between the Ministry andNAVER.In the areas of innovation and digital transformation.
During the meeting, they discussed potential expansion of cooperation in the field of stablecoins linked to real estate investment and other economic sectors. They also discussed advancing joint work on a data center development project in collaboration with the National Innovation Company, which will contribute to strengthening the Kingdom's digital economy infrastructure. Furthermore, the two sides explored opportunities to enhance research and development cooperation in emerging technologies and support exchange and collaboration programs between Saudi Arabia and South Korea in scientific and technological fields.
This meeting comes as an extension of the international partnerships that the Ministry is working to develop, and out of a belief in the importance of attracting advanced technologies and innovative digital solutions, which contribute to the development of the municipal and real estate sectors and the achievement of the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
