Today, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, oversaw the signing of 7 agreements and memoranda of understanding, during his visit to the Republic of Finland, during which he met with a number of ministers and senior officials there.
His Excellency attended the Saudi-Finnish Business Forum, which was held at the headquartersof Business Finland, affiliated with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in the presence of a number of businessmen and representatives of the private sector from both sides, within the framework of developing trade relations between the two friendly countries.
The National Housing Company signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding withOivan Group OyandWapice Oywith the aim of cooperating in developing smart city technologies, Internet of Things technologies, big data analytics technologies, artificial intelligence, and exchanging experiences and expertise in common areas. The National Housing Company was represented in signing the memorandum of understanding by the General Manager of Digital Solutions in the Solutions Sector, Engineer Marwan bin Nasser Al-Zamil.
Al-Haqil also witnessed the signing of a number of agreements between several Saudi and Finnish companies in the fields of housing, engineering solutions, technical services and renewable energy, in addition to agreements in the circular economy, security and safety, logistics and environmental systems.
His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing visited this morning, accompanied by representatives of the Saudi business sector, the Finnish Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where, under the auspices ofBusiness Finland , he witnessed presentations by representatives of Finnish companies specializing in modern building technologies, and His Excellency was briefed on the university’s experiences and the latest studies presented in this field.
