This initiative seeks to enhance the visual scene pertaining to pilgrims' journey from the time they enter land, sea, and air ports until they arrive at their final destination (the Two Holy Mosques). To accomplish this, urban design elements are developed and improved at the entrances of the pilgrim cities (Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Taif, and Jamoum) and visual distortion is mitigated in these cities, with a focus on showcasing the local and Islamic identities.
