Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing sponsors the closing ceremony of the "Engineer of Tomorrow" program.

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, sponsored the closing ceremony of the “Engineer of Tomorrow” program, which was held this evening at the “Innovation Oasis” in Riyadh, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Real Estate Development, Abdulrahman Al-Tawil, and the CEO of Al-Habib Real Estate Company, Mohammed Al-Habib. The program’s activities lasted for a week with the participation of more than thirty students.

The program aims to raise awareness among participating students about modern construction methods and promote their use, creating an enabling and attractive environment for them, in addition to teaching students new technical and innovative skills in the field of construction using modern construction methods.

His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair affirmed that the Ministry has an ambitious plan to offer more than 300,000 housing units during the next five years. This huge number of housing units is difficult to construct using traditional building methods. Therefore, it is necessary to take advantage of modern building methods, which save a lot of time, money and effort compared to traditional methods. These events organized by the Ministry come within the framework of raising awareness among members of society about the importance of modern building methods. He praised the wonderful models of houses that the students built, and thanked the students and their parents for the effort they made during the program.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing for the Real Estate Development Agency explained that the students participating in the workshop were between 10 and 15 years old from various schools in Riyadh, and that they were keen to make the program attractive and beneficial for their students by simplifying the complex world of construction in a simple way. It is exciting, develops scientific and digital skills, creates interest and raises awareness in the construction sector and modern construction methods, and stimulates creativity and innovation among students.

At the conclusion of the program, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing honored the participating students and awarded them certificates of appreciation. A number of parents expressed their happiness with their children’s participation in the program and the practical, interactive and exciting approach used in training and skills development.
