The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing obtained a"compatibility" certificate.From the gold category as a supportive work environment for people with disabilities for the year 2024, which is granted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to entities committed to providing a suitable work environment for people with disabilities according to the specified standards and requirements and in line with the National Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The “ Mowaamah” certificate comesas part of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing’s commitment to providing a suitable work environment for people with disabilities, by improving access to services and information and developing facilities to meet their needs, in addition to organizing many training programs and events, to promote the values of inclusivity and raise the level of job satisfaction among all its employees. The “ Mowaamah” certificate isone of the programs of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development that supports the achievement of the National Strategy for Persons with Disabilities. The program aims to enable persons with disabilities to obtain suitable job opportunities, and to provide them with all the facilities and tools that help them to achieve success, in addition to motivating entities and establishments in all sectors to provide a suitable work environment for them in accordance with the specified standards and requirements.The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing obtained the gold category with a compliance rate exceeding 70%, as the first ministry to obtain this certificate.
