On the infrastructure side, preparations included upgrading the tunnel networks with a length of 22,515 linear meters, in addition to 6,000 linear meters of service tunnels, as well as maintaining and preparing 16 bridges and 8 main roads, which supports the smooth flow of traffic and ease of pedestrian movement in the Holy City, especially during peak times.

The ministry explained that the total workforce mobilized within the readiness plans amounted to 13,549 workers, supported by 912 pieces of equipment and machinery, in addition to providing more than 47,900 waste containers in various locations, which contributes to intensifying public cleaning and environmental sanitation work around the clock.
