Al-Budair inspects a number of housing and development projects in the Jazan region

His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair, inspected a number of housing projects in the Jazan region as part of the "Sakani" program and developmental housing projects. He also visited a number of civil associations concerned with providing social and housing solutions for the most needy families and reviewed their efforts in serving families, as part of His Excellency’s visit to the region.

Al-Budair reviewed the progress and level of completion at the Al-Shawajrah project site, which provides 812 housing units, to identify the project's challenges and the reasons for the delay in delivery. His Excellency also visited the King Abdullah Suburb "Technology Monument" project, which provides 1,236 housing units, to inspect the units ready for delivery and ensure their readiness. He also inspected the Al-Rayah project, which provides 496 housing units for beneficiaries of developmental housing, to review the progress of work on the project and the final delivery plans for beneficiaries. He also reviewed the progress of work on the Al-Durrah 1, Al-Durrah 2, and Al-Luluah 1 projects, which provide more than 600 housing units for beneficiaries of developmental housing, stressing the need to expedite the completion of work and accelerate the completion. He also inspected the units ready for delivery in the Ruba Al-Ardah project, which provides 198 housing units for beneficiaries of developmental housing, and reviewed the progress of work on the Ministry's villas project in Al-Qahmah, which provides 164 housing units. In addition, he reviewed the service needs of the housing projects on Farasan Island, which provide more than 1,700 housing units.

During his visits to the projects, His Excellency stressed the need to raise the level of achievement and progress in the projects, stressing the need to intensify efforts in infrastructure and services works to meet the aspirations of the beneficiary Saudi families. He emphasized that the Ministry is constantly monitoring the completion of projects according to the timetables to ensure their implementation with high quality and delivery on time in line with the aspirations of the beneficiary families, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to facilitate homeownership for Saudi families and raise its rate in accordance with the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 - His Excellency appreciated the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, for the completion of housing and development projects in a way that reflects on the lives of the people and families in the region.

During his tour of the Jazan region, Al-Budair visited a number of civil associations, including the Al-Siddiq Association for Honoring the Dead, and the Creative Fingers Association for Crafts and Professions, where he reviewed the association’s efforts in training and empowering families receiving social security and those most in need who benefit from developmental housing. He praised what he saw during his visit. He also visited the Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Association for Developmental Housing in Jazan City, which specializes in providing housing services to families receiving social security and those most in need, and discussed with the association’s management ways to enhance cooperation and participation in a way that serves the people and families in the region.

His Excellency also visited the “Masaken” Building and Development Association, where he inaugurated the volunteer center within the association and reviewed the most prominent services it provides to housing beneficiaries from social security families and the most needy. In addition, he visited the “Kiswah Al-Kasi” Association, which provides clothing and apparel services to the most needy families in order to participate in the community. The Third Sector and Community Participation Agency is the supervisory body for the work of these associations in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing to empower them and achieve the objectives for which they were established.

During his tour of the region, Al-Budair inspected a number of development projects, including the pedestrian walkway, which is one of the community participation projects to encourage the second sector to participate in development projects, and the municipal incubators implemented to facilitate the movement of shoppers to the waterfront in Jazan City. His Excellency also inspected the waterfront facilities, the sandy beach, the beach walkway, the beach ball field, and the cultural street, and reviewed the services provided to citizens, residents and visitors to the waterfront, which is the largest waterfront in the Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that the Jazan region includes 23 residential projects that provide more than 7,400 housing units, in addition to 19 residential schemes in various governorates and centers of the region, providing more than 32,000 diverse housing plots that suit the aspirations of all segments within easy and convenient procedures, taking into account the diversity of desires and capabilities and the commitment to maintaining quality and a suitable price, in addition to the facilities and services necessary to provide a modern and integrated lifestyle.
